Inauguration of Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge

As you are no doubt aware, the city of Dallas has been working very hard to revitalize its Trinity River, and one of the key elements to this is the Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge that was designed by your world-renowned architect Santiago Calatrava. 

The citizens of Dallas are celebrating the completion of this long-awaited project with a variety of activities from March 2-4.

Mayor Mike Rawlings has invited the Mayor of Valnecia to lead an official delegation to be a part of this celebration which will include events organized by the Trinity River Trust, the City of Dallas and its cultural institutions.  The Dallas Valencia Citizens Committee along with generous donations and sponsorships from Dallas citizens along with other institutons will be hosting the Valencia Delegation from the 29th of Febuary to the 4th of March 2012.

A cornerstone event of this weekend will be a reception at the Meadows Museum from 3:00-5:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 3rd, where a Dallas-based Valencian chef will prepare paella on the Meadows Plaza in honor of the visiting delegation.
